Back by popular demand the one the only GR8 DIVN monthly full moon night dives and WOW! THIS ONE WAS PHENOMENAL…..
Alicia and Chris led 10 divers and 18 in all who braved the howling winds which subsided near dusk at Kingman wash for our first but not only full moon night dive of the 2010 season. The event was so popular we had divers from Poland and Ireland enjoying the balmy 68 degree waters. Visibility was 40 feet and sightings included bluegill, catfish, stripper and crayfish a plenty. Even though the moon was full and the skies clear no werewolves were sighted. Divers splashed in at 5pm and continued till 11:30.
We were once again graced with a special appearance of Sir Beans Reilley and his personal valet Victor. Sir Beans was hesitant to attend when he heard dogs were the main entree. Yet as it turned out the tasty main course was hot dogs served with oranges and drinks awaiting divers between their dives.
Ah the days of the GR8 Divn monthly full moon night dives have once again have returned. We thank all who joined us and look forward to seeing all of you in June.
Happy and Safe Diving,
